Course Outline:
The course will cover the following areas:
Certification: Logic Certification.
Duration: 3 Days including theory, practical and assessment.
Location: Renewable Energy Training Facility – Chesterfield, Derbyshire.
Price: £495 + VAT (Course price includes examination entry fees, lunch and refreshments).
Entry Requirements:
This course is ideally suited for experienced heating or plumbing professionals although other trades are welcome providing they have basic plumbing skills. Candidates should hold G3 certificate in Unvented Hot Water Systems OR be taking the 1-day course the day prior to this course. Basic electrical experience is desirable.
Noted exclusion from training & assessment:
This course is not intended to coverroof or access work in detail but does cover the legislative requirements, risk assessment requirements. Please also have a look at the Work at Height for Solar Installers course details. Where ever practical we would recommend the use of an experienced roofer to install the collectors (see www.nfrc.co.uk )
although collectors will require connection at roof level by a plumber, so those wishing to carry this work out should be comfortable and experienced working at height.
