BPEC Rainwater Harvesting Course
As the Code for Sustainable Homes becomes increasingly strict on waste of all sorts, commercial and public sector organisations are required to keep ‘green’ designs at the front of their mind. Rainwater harvesting is one of the easiest and most cost effective ways for buildings to gain the ‘points’ required to meet the higher standards.
Course Objective:
The course will introduce installers to the different types of rainwater harvesting and point of use systems that they may encounter in the UK marketplace. It must be noted that this course will emphasise common system configurations that most installers are likely to encounter. The syllabus covers information required by qualified building services engineers or plumbers to install rainwater harvesting systems and is designed to meet the requirements of the manufacturers for the installation of the Rainwater Harvesting Systems that are currently available in the UK.
