What is New Career Search (NCS) and what will it do for me?
NCS is a separate organisation specialising in the provision of advice for the career changer. You will receive advice on tailoring an industry specific cv, be given useful pointers on marketing and help with networking. The service also includes a job matching service which aims to put together employees with potential employers.
If you are looking to start up on your own the business start-up service will give you useful information to help you on the way. It is valuable guide to help you avoid comment with plenty of useful hints and advice.
How does NCS work?
The process begins when you complete and return the initial questionnaire. This will be sent to you about two weeks before the course commencement date. Once this has been received and reviewed by a careers advisor you will receive either the job search or business start-up pack depending on what you choose.
On successful completion of your course you will be assigned an experienced recruitment consultant to help guide you along the way to finding a job or starting up on your own. You will only get out of it as much as you put in, however, it can be a powerful tool in helping you find a job or starting a business.
